150th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Mission of Monaco in Spain

On this occasion, the Embassy of Monaco, in close collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Princely Government, is organizing an exceptional cultural programme to be held throughout the year in Spain and in the Principality.

This commemoration forms part of the continuation of long-standing historical relations between Monaco and Spain, built on dialogue, cooperation and shared values. It bears witness to the continuity of an old diplomatic bond that has evolved over time while maintaining its strength.

Through this initiative, the Principality of Monaco reaffirms its commitment to cultural diplomacy and seeks to highlight the richness of exchanges while promoting a shared diplomatic heritage that is sometimes little known.

A commemorative logo has been specially created for this 150th anniversary to emphasize the quality of relations between the two countries and the importance that the Principality attaches to their continuity.
