H.S.H. Prince Albert II strongly condemns the invasion of Ukraine. His Serene Highness expresses his complete solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are the victims of the military action and bombing, and supports calls for an immediate ceasefire.

H.S.H. Prince Albert II strongly condemns the invasion of Ukraine. His Serene Highness expresses his complete solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are the victims of the military action and bombing, and supports calls for an immediate ceasefire.

The Principality of Monaco reaffirms its commitment to respect for international law, and the sovereignty, integrity and independence of States. It believes that disagreements and conflicts should be resolved solely through dialogue and diplomacy.

The Sovereign Prince supports all initiatives to bring an end to fighting, a return to negotiation and the withdrawal of Russian armed forces from Ukrainian territory.

Monaco stands alongside the Ukrainian people and calls for humanitarian law to be respected. The Principality is ready to offer its support to the humanitarian organisations who are operating courageously on the ground.

In accordance with its international commitments, the Principality has immediately adopted and implemented asset freezing measures and economic sanctions identical to those taken by the majority of European states.
