Prince Albert II inaugurates the exhibition dedicated to his tri-great-grandfather at the Cantabrian Rock Art Centre Prince Albert I of Monaco in Spain
The brand new Cantabrian Rock Art Centre - CARC - which opened its doors in January 2024, was named by the Spanish authorities after Prince Albert I of Monaco in recognition of the research and studies that the Sovereign carried out in the caves of the Cantabrian region at the beginning of the 20th century.

Monaco will host the grand departure of La Vuelta 26
Monaco will host the official start of the Vuelta 26. The announcement was made official at a ceremony held at the Monaco Yacht Club. The agreement was signed by H.E. Mr Pierre Dartout, Minister of State of the Principality of Monaco, Yan Le Moenner, Managing Director of Amaury Sport Organisation, and Javier Guillén, Managing Director of La Vuelta, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. After Portugal, the Netherlands and France, the official start of the 81st edition of the race will once again take place from abroad.

The Principality of Monaco at the VIIIth Regional Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona- UfM
As it does every year, Barcelona hosted the UfM's Regional Forum on 27 November, bringing together ministers from the countries around the Mediterranean that are members of this organisation. The Monegasque delegation was made up of Mrs Isabelle Rosabrunetto, Director General of the Department of External Relations and Cooperation and H.E. Mrs Catherine Fautrier Rousseau, Monaco's Ambassador to Spain.

The Minister of State represents Monaco at the 3rd Summit of the European Political Community in Granada
A Monegasque delegation led by H.E. Mr Pierre Dartout took part in the 3rd Summit of the European Political Community, held in Granada on 5 October 2023 under the Spanish Presidency. This high-level meeting, which follows on from the Prague (October 2022) and Chisinau (June 2023) summits, brought together 43 Heads of State and Government, the Presidents of the European Council, the European Parliament and the European Commission, as well as the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. As with previous summits, the aim was to strengthen cohesion, cooperation and dialogue between all European countries, with a view to preserving peace and security on the continent.
