The Ambassador of Monaco to Spain Visits Asturias

On May 7 and 8, the Ambassador of Monaco to Spain, H.E. Ms. Catherine FAUTRIER, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Principality of Andorra, H.E. Ms. Eva DESCARREGA, made a visit to the Principality of Asturias, an autonomous province of the Kingdom of Spain, whose capital is Oviedo.
The Ambassadors were first received by the President of the Government of Asturias, Mr. Adrián BARBÓN. This meeting provided an opportunity for them to present the functioning of the institutions of their respective countries and to discuss the historical ties uniting Monaco, Andorra, and Asturias. They were then welcomed by the Mayor of Oviedo, Mr. Alfredo CANTELI, with whom they discussed potential collaborations in the fields of tourism and culture. The visit concluded with a meeting with the President of the Parliament (Junta General), Mr. Juan COFIÑO.
The day before, the Ambassadors had the opportunity to present their countries at the Press Club of La Nueva España.
