2018

The Tax Information Exchange Agreements (TIEA) is expected to be signed in the near future.

This will allow the Principality of Monaco to be removed from the Spanish list of tax havens.

2017

Paris Climate Agreement : The Kingdom of Spain ratified this agreement on 12 January 2017.

2014

Agreement on reciprocal recognition and exchange of national driving licences between Spain and Monaco
Entry into force: 13 March 2014.

2008

International Hydrographic Organization : The Kingdom of Spain has been a member of the International Hydrographic Organization since 2 June 1969 and on 19 June 2008 approved the amendments to the convention adopted during the Extraordinary International Hydrographic Conference held in Monaco in 2005.

Amendment to the Convention for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea Against Pollution

2001

The Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic area : ACCOBAMS entered into force in Spain on 1 June 2001.

2000

Service d’Information et de Contrôle sur les Circuits Financiers: Spain (SEPBLAC) reached an administrative agreement with SICCFIN on anti-money laundering measures on 12 December 2000.

1999

Protocol concerning specially protected areas and biological diversity in the Mediterranean (known as the ASPIM Protocol).
Barcelona, 10 June 1995 and appendices adopted in Monaco on 24 November 1996.
Instruments of ratification submitted on 3 June 1997.
Entry into force: 12 December 1999.
